Beit haYotzer [“crafters’ studio”]
Our Beit haYotzer is a unique center for rehabilitation
through art that brings together rehabilitees with
working artists. Beit haYotzer is located at 4 Szold,
Ranaana (corner of Szold and Ahuza), in a new,
purpose-built building.Beit haYotzer’s innovative
programming is a joint effort of Dror and the city of
Raanana, sponsored by the Health Ministry and
National Insurance. The building will serve as
an art studio for ex-psychiatric patients alongside
working artists.Beit haYotzer houses a gallery with
changing exhibits.
Initial stage: Occupational workshops
Beit haYotzer houses various workshops, including
mixed media, painting, and glasswork. The workshops
are used for instruction in the various visual arts, and in
the future will serve as display spaces for sale of artwork.
The workshops are open Sunday through Thursday from
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The next step: Sheltered workshop

The manufactured products are changed as per orders
received, with various artworks such as glasswork,
textiles, woodworking, and painting being added.
Wages are calculated based on individual employee
output.

Contact Udi Davidson, Dror’s Professional Director,
at +972 (9) 743-0253 to make an appointment
for an interview. Interviews are conducted at 6 Kinneret,
Raanana. When the building is ready for occupancy,
interviews will take place at 4 Szold, Raanana.
Admission to any sheltered employment or
supervised occupation is stipulated on permission
from the Health Ministry Rehabilitation Committee.
Candidates should be open to and have the desire
to engage in art.
